Leather Satchel Backpack/Rucksack (16")

I am very happy with the craftsmanship and quality of this bag. I think the manufacturer should add photos of the inside. There are dividers, pockets and pen holders inside the bag. I’m sure others wonder like I did. Good price for what you get!

I can't believe how cool this backpack is. I had to make some adjustments to the straps. Folded them back and superglue, now perfect look. For the price. You can't beat it. I love this Bag!! I carry around a lot, of things. 1) Folding umbrella 1) Book 3) A pair of lambskin gloves (Sometimes at my job I need to use my hands in the warehouse and they come in handy. 2) Pair of reading glasses. (I'm ADD when it comes to not having a set with me at all times. Believe ,me when you sit on a pair and can't read a map or timetable you learn to appreciate always being prepared. And yes, I was a boy scout. 1) change/toiletries pouch. (Hand sanitizer, liquid band aid. tons of loose change and personal care stuff. Again, always prepared.
1) Vitamin case 1) Cloth hand towel.1) small writing journal and pen. 1) pair of sunglasses in a hard case. Paper napkins, train pass, Keys, and a few other small items. it all fits and there is still room for more. This bag also looks great. Oh and BTW. I did put my laptop in the bag to see how it fits and "Ba Boom" It fits. I have wide, laptop. Of course, if I am carrying around my laptop for a projest I will have to jettison some things but all in all this Bag Rocks!.

I generally don’t rave over a purchase, but I can’t help sharing that a day does not go by without someone asking me where I purchased the Handmade World Leather Backpack. I end up pulling my phone out and looking it up so that they can take a picture of the link.

Purchased in October, use it every day, and it still looks and feels new. I even carry a large HP laptop in the bag. Fits well.

My only suggestion would be to put a fitted foam pad at the bottom so that it cushions the blow when I throw the bag, with the laptop in it, on the floor, after a long day. I made my own after purchasing. Found one in my old canvas bag that works but is not fitted.

Oh yes, and the leather smell does disappears after a few weeks. If you have pets, they can’t get over the smell. They love it.

Loved the back pack. It is better than I had thought when purchased. Have to get over the new leather, or whatever it is packed in, but anticipate the smell going away with time.

Real leather!!! If you never have had leather, you may be surprised. This is the real deal and not something trying to pass for leather. Great care has been taken in production. I am a manufacturing engineer and am naturally drawn to shortcomings. There are none. As a for instance of care, the buckles are even individually wrapped! I recommend this product without reservation.

I love this bag!!! I get multiple compliments on it every single day. It's perfect for work -- holds my laptop, various chargers, a small swim bag, a sweater or light jacket for later in the evenings... everything I need for the day. It even works great for short trips -- I went to New York for a weekend with only this bag (and no... I did not wear the same outfit the entire weekend.) Customer service is also excellent. When I first received the bag, I found the straps to be rather tight. Handmade_World worked with me to figure out what length would work best and sent me a new, longer strap at no additional cost. I will say that people's comments about the hardware breaking are not unwarranted. The buckles that keep the strap attached to the bag could definitely be stronger. The buckles regularly gave way resulting in my bag falling to the ground. I found an easy fix by just wrapping some copper wire around the buckle and strap. Since then, the bag works perfectly and it looks wonderful. I really like that I can easily go from work or the gym to an evening event without feeling like I'm showing up with a clunky backpack. Then there's the price... where do I begin?! I won't even try except to suggest that you look at prices for comparable products. No contest! If and when it meets it's last days I'll simply buy a new one without breaking the bank. Again, I LOVE THIS BAG.
